I just wanted to give Hillary a hiatus so she could write her long-awaited "Secrets To Making Un-Dreamed-Of Profits With Cattle Futures" book.
I thought now that she is (thank goodness!) no longer "dead broke," she might be wiling to tell us how in 1978 and 1979 she engaged in a series of trades of cattle futures contracts, her initial $1,000 investment turning into nearly $100,000 when she stopped trading after ten months.
Maybe she will also tell us why, with such a MAGNIFICENT return-on-investment, she stopped cold with a mere $100,000.
I'll be watching AMAZON for her book to appear.

Election Post-Mortem
by Simon ini'm sure many people, republicans included, are shocked at the results of the 2016 presidential election.
really, wtf!.
the polls were wrong and although it's tempting to blame voter suppression and fbi interference, that would just avoid looking at the real issues for the loss.

Oh, no. Not the election.........
by punkofnice injust to set the scene; i loathe politicians.
i am revulsed by people like trump, clinton, merkel, may and uncle tom cobleigh an' all.. however, i have a question about something that someone said.
i've googled it but couldn't locate.. now, i know you folks will give me a specific answer.....and sorry to bring up that usa election.

I don't understand why this question was asked.
Someone on this board who is from the UK assured me that folks in the UK have an absolute and complete grasp of the Electoral College because it is such a simple concept.
Did you guys skip classes? C'mon, you DID, didn't ya?

Hi NikL,
Just for your information, _I_ am the person who first released most of that information in free digital format many years ago. Search this site for "Watchtower Bookshelf CD" if you are interested.
I don't distribute anything for free anymore because I got tired of sending a free CD halfway around the world at my expense and then discovering that the person who got it was selling copies of his free CD on eBay.
I digitized a lot of other stuff too, then was inspired by the author of "Captives of a Concept" (Don Cameron) to get into the "replica reprint" business.
It's a GREAT way to make A LOT of MONEY FAST, if by " a lot" you mean $20 and by "fast" you mean twelve years. :)
...but I do it to meet chicks, and the occasional duck.
OOPS!
Checking your link, I see that is not my stuff. It looks like it may be material from the Bible Students, who still think that Chuck Russell was the cat's meow and that soon their loopy graphs will become relevant in the real world.
The stuff I did was more 50s and 60s WTB&TS stuff.
It is not too late to join the UADNA team!

if people get left behind be careful
by pepperheart inin this world there are becoming two sorts of people the ones with stupid amounts of money and the ones with very little money and the people in charge are going to get even more shocks if they dont share the money out in a more fair way.ive seen in the press that obama will be getting a house that costs over $4 million dollars and how many people are having to live on basic wage.there is plenty of money going around its just not shared out enough, rather than a lottery giving out a prize of $50 or $100 million dollars just think how many people would be blessed if that was dividid in $50,000 prizes and there would be more chances to win as well.some people have to work for a whole year or even two to get that amount of money .

Better yet, take $100 million dollars and give 100 million people $1 each.
or divy it up to all 7 billion an let everyone go wild with almost one and a half cents!

Hillary Clinton Winning total vote count but loses the Election
by RubaDub indo those of you outside the usa find it odd that in a presidential election, the total number of people casting votes means nothing?
there is a method we use here called the electoral college based on each state rather than the total votes cast by actual people.. this is, i believe the 5th time in america's history that the person with the most votes lost the election (the last was in 2000 when al gore beat george w. bush by about 400,000 votes but lost the election).. so hillary (at the moment i last checked) had overall about 200,000 more votes nationwide but lost.. i'm sure a lot of people in other countries scratch their heads when they see this happening.. rub a dub.

Yes, RubaDub, but that's the way it is. If you want change, work for change. King Jesus got out of the fried-chicken delivery business sometime in the 50s. He ain't delivered nutthin' since!
Yes Simon, but similar isn't identical. Do students in the UK actually waste their time studying the US political system in depth? I cannot think of a greater waste of time for them! US schools stopped teaching "civics" about the same time Jesus stopped delivering fried chicken.
